Cannindah Resources Says Surface Sampling at Queensland Project Identifies Porphyry-Style Mineralization

Cannindah Resources (ASX:CAE) said surface sampling at the Mt Cannindah project in Queensland identified porphyry-style veining with copper, gold, and molybdenum geochemistry, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

This included a result of 61 meters at 1.28% grade of copper-equivalent, including 0.94% grade of copper, 0.22 grams per tonne grade of gold, and 141 parts per million grade of molybdenum from surface to 61 meters. Surface sampling at Appletree East area returned results of up to 0.16% grade of copper and 31 ppm grade of molybdenum.

A drill rig is currently on track to commence scout drill testing of the Southern target zone at the project in November, where an initial 10 holes are planned.
