0838 GMT - Yields on U.K. government bonds fall as investors expect the U.K. to exercise fiscal prudence at the November 26, budget, following reassurance from Treasury Chief Rachel Reeves. The prospects of strict fiscal measures raise the possibility of Bank of England interest-rate cuts, pushing short-end gilt yields lower, Tickmill Group's Patrick Munnelly says in a note. Falling Treasury yields also help push gilt yields lower. Ten-year gilt yields fall 3 basis points to last trade at 4.408%, Tradeweb data show. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
