埃克森美孚周四宣布，将收购希腊近海第2号区块（Block 2）天然气勘探项目60%的股权，投资额预计在5000万至1亿美元之间。这是美国能源企业在东地中海地区的又一重大布局。

　　根据协议，Energean的持股比例从75%降至30%，Helleniq Energy则从25%降至10%。勘探阶段由Energean负责运营，一旦发现可开采资源，埃克森美孚将接管项目运营权。公司预计在2030年代初实现首批天然气产出。

　　此次交易紧随希腊上月宣布雪佛龙与Helleniq Energy财团中标伯罗奔尼撒半岛及克里特岛南部四个海上勘探区块，显示美资正加快进入希腊海域能源开发。埃克森美孚全球勘探负责人约翰·阿迪尔表示：“该协议为2027年前后的首轮深海钻探奠定了基础。”

　　第2号区块位于爱奥尼亚海西北部、意大利专属经济区附近，是希腊最具勘探潜力的海上区块之一。项目团队于2022年完成2244平方公里三维地震勘测。

　　Energean首席执行官里加斯称，该合作是“希腊实现能源自主的国家机遇”，有助于在符合国际标准的前提下合理开发国内能源资源。目前希腊几乎不产油，发电与民用天然气高度依赖进口。

　　这一进展正值欧盟加速推进“2027年前彻底摆脱俄气”目标。希腊正依托欧盟复苏基金投资超180亿美元，用于升级能源基础设施，力争成为美国液化天然气及区域天然气的重要中转枢纽。
