Humm Group (ASX:HUM) said New York Stock Exchange-listed The Abercrombie Group withdrew its non-binding indicative proposal to acquire the company, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The Abercrombie Group and Humm's independent board committee agreed to conclude talks regarding the takeover proposal.

Andrew Abercrombie, The Abercrombie Group's principal and Chair of Humm, said that since submitting the proposal, it became "evident that it does not currently have the support of several key shareholders."
