Charisma Energy Services JV to Supply Electrical Energy in Sri Lanka

Charisma Energy Services' (SGX:YSV) special purpose vehicle, Jericho Solar, signed a standardized power purchase agreement with Ceylon Electricity Board in Sri Lanka to supply electrical energy from a 5MW power plant, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the company were up over 1% in Wednesday trading.

The agreement is for the supply of electric energy generated from a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic power plant for a duration of 20 years, the filing said.

Under the agreement, Jericho Solar will complete the construction, testing and commissioning of the facility and transmission line within 12 months, and will have another month to make the plant operational.

The project will help the company expand its renewable energy projects portfolio and will takes its total capacity to around 48MW.
