IT之家 11 月 5 日消息，知名 XR 领域博主 Brad Lynch 表示，Valve 未来的 VR 头显产品将配备 Arm 指令集处理器，运行一个专为 XR 设备定制的 Arm 兼容 SteamOS Linux 发行版。
该设备将拥有独立的 Linux Arm SteamOS 客户端，并支持所谓的 "Steam Play 3.0" 兼容转译，可游玩 Android 系统 Arm 适配、Windows 系统 Arm 适配、Windows 系统 x86 适配游戏。
此外，Valve 的下一代 VR 头显将支持眼部追踪，不过 Brad Lynch 暂未获知有关面部追踪的任何信息。
对于新的 Steam Controller 2，Brad Lynch 认为其不仅可作为常规 VR 控制器使用，还将提供传统游戏交互支持。
