10月31日，随着广东中山东部外环高速公路控制性工程——香山大桥顺利合龙，珠江口再立一座形如风琴的新地标。香山大桥主塔有90层楼高，与周边建筑错落成景，形成了粤港澳大湾区又一处“打卡点”。
香山大桥塔高270米、主跨880米、总长1776米，采用上下双层双向16车道设计，上层为双向8车道高速公路，下层预留8车道空间。其中，香山大桥主塔塔柱为“人”字形，建设技术难度极高，项目团队采用液压爬模工艺分节段现浇，如同给桥塔“穿”上可自动“长高”的外衣。
上部结构施工过程中，项目团队设计研发了国内公路用最大的QMD1500吨桥面吊机，这台“空中大力神”可让近1300吨重的巨型钢桁梁段在高空实现误差不超过3毫米的精准对接。智能监控系统如“数字神经”保障安全，整节段吊装工艺则大幅提升效率，缩短航道占用时间。
不久前，香山大桥斜拉索安装完毕，成功挂好所有“钢铁力弦”，像大鸟舒展起羽翼，为主桥顺利合龙筑牢了最关键的“骨架根基”。香山大桥的斜拉索系统，既是“大块头”也是“精细活”，全桥240根斜拉索，如同大桥的240根“筋骨”。“每根索的‘力道’都得精准，合在一起大桥才能受力均匀。”香山大桥项目副经理李昆星介绍。
