Aura Energy (ASX:AEE) said the overturn of the uranium mining ban by the Swedish Parliament has the potential for the company's Haggan project in Central Sweden to add substantial value and reinforce investor interest to develop the project, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company can now apply for permits to explore for and extract uranium from the project from Jan. 1, 2026, the filing said.
