Spanberger Is Doing Better in Virginia's Biggest County Than Harris in 2024 -- WSJ

Democrat Abigail Spanberger, who the Associated Press has declared the winner of the Virginia governor's race, is pulling in big numbers in the state's most populated county.

With about 41% of the expected vote tabulated in northern Virginia's Fairfax County, the Democrat leads Republican Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, 74.3% to 25.5%. In the 2024 presidential election, Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris got 66.1% of the vote in that county.
