消息面上，阿里旗下淘宝闪购近期动作频频。11月3日，饿了么App完成版本号12.0.1的更新，正式更名为“淘宝闪购”，目前该更新仍处于灰度测试阶段；11月5日，据第一财经消息，Boss直聘显示阿里近日新发布的岗位中，传出合并消息的淘宝闪购和饿了幺正进行多个“同岗位招聘”；11月6日，来自天猫双11数据显示，截至5日，淘宝闪购带来的新用户在双11期间的电商订单数已超过1亿。
东亚证券发布研报称，阿里巴巴预计将于11月中旬公布第二财季业绩，预计整体收入同比增速将放缓至4%，但云业务收入增长料继续加速至30%以上，属潜在亮点之一，中国电商业务收入预期同比增加12%，主要受益于闪购业务的新增贡献。由于集团仍需为外卖和闪购业务增加投入，加上AI相关基础设施的资本开支大增，可能短期内续拖累集团经调整利润率表现。
