Sprott raised its quarterly dividend 33%, to 40 cents a share.
The asset manager plans to pay the dividend on Dec. 2 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 17. Canadian shareholders will receive their dividend in Canadian dollars, exchanged based on the spot price rate on Dec. 2.
The new payout, equal to $1.60 a year, represents an annual yield of about 2.0% based on Monday's closing price of $81.73.
