白宫在一份声明中表示，美国与匈牙利签署一份谅解备忘录，启动促进两国在民用核能产业（包括小型模块化反应堆）领域合作的谈判。

　　白宫称，匈牙利表示有意支持最多10座小型模块化反应堆的建设，潜在总价值可达200亿美元。

　　此外，匈牙利还承诺将采购美国液化天然气。
