消息面上，微软CEO萨提亚·纳德拉在与OpenAI CEO萨姆·奥特曼日前共同接受采访时也表示，当前人工智能行业面临的问题并非算力过剩，而是缺乏足够的电力来支撑所有GPU运行。“说到底，我们现在面临的最大问题并不是算力过剩，而是电力——也就是能否在靠近电源的地方足够快地建成基础设施。”
申万宏源发布研报称，根据康明斯预计，全球数据中心发电机市场空间将从2023年的60亿美元增至2026年90亿美元、2030年120亿美元。海外AI数据中心(AIDC)的建设浪潮早于且规模远大于国内，其对备用电源的需求是数倍于国内市场的刚性存在。据悉，1995年10月，重庆机电与康明斯合资成立重庆康明斯发动机有限公司。目前，重庆康明斯已经成为国内领先的大马力发动机制造企业。
