Parker-Hannifin Deal 'Very Much in Line' with Business Strategy -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Nov 12, 2025

1406 ET - While Parker-Hannifin's $9.25 billion buy of Filtration Group isn't a surprise given recent media reports, Morgan Stanley analysts say in a research note they expect the market to take a favorable view on the deal. That is largely because the motion-control technologies company has proven itself to be a best-in-class acquirer and integrator in recent years, the analysts write. They add the new deal is also "very much in line with (its) strategy to transition the business towards more resilient and secular aftermarket verticals." The deal math seems attractive, and Parker-Hannifin should be able to drive material revenue synergies that further improve the economics, the analysts say. Parker-Hannifin rises 2.7%.
