大量招聘信息凸显了华尔街对印度中心的依赖增加，摩根大通近五分之一的全球员工都在印度。随着美国总统唐纳德·特朗普提高签证成本以收紧移民政策，这场持续已久的招聘热潮势必会加速，为印度带来更多此类高端金融职位。
据知情人士称，为应对H-1B签证新规，至少两家美国银行在印度的高管与总部磋商，考虑加强所谓全球能力中心(GCC)的办法。一些已在美国发出录用通知的银行正在考虑撤回这些通知，或者在其GCC内部设立替代职位。
