英国广播公司（BBC）周一表示，该媒体已收到美国总统特朗普的一封信，威胁将就一部在美国总统选举前一周播出的纪录片进行法律行动。

　　BBC承认，该纪录片对特朗普演讲的剪辑造成了误导性的印象，处理方式应更为谨慎。

　　这部去年播出的纪录片将特朗普一次演讲的两个部分剪辑在一起，使他看起来是在鼓励2021年1月的国会山骚乱。

　　BBC主席Samir Shah表示，正在“考虑”如何回应特朗普的来信。

　　当被问及特朗普是否真的会起诉BBC时，Shah说：“我还不知道，但他是个爱打官司的人，所以我们应该为各种结果做好准备。”
