Rox Resources Starts Underground Mining Operations at Western Australia Project; Shares Up 7%

Rox Resources (ASX:RXL) started underground mining operations at its Youanmi project in Western Australia, with the first decline cut fired at the United North pit, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Works are underway to initiate the batch plant for fibercreting the initial sections of the decline, enabling continuous mining to begin next week, the filing said.
Shares rose 7% in afternoon trade on Monday.
