中国（陕西）—莫桑比克投资促进会日前在西安举办。
现场，多名陕西企业代表和莫桑比克政府代表分别进行推介。陕西省一带一路医药健康行业协会、中铁二十局集团有限公司、中国西部水泥有限公司、中国水利水电第三工程局有限公司等单位与莫桑比克经济部签约。
中国西部水泥有限公司首席执行官曹建顺说：“2020年，我们在莫桑比克建成并运营了一条水泥生产线。近年来，双方在建材、物流、船业等领域均开展合作项目，关系密切。此次促进会，我们和莫方签约3个项目，投资近20亿元，未来能为当地带来千余个就业岗位。”
据官网介绍，目前，西部水泥在非洲的莫桑比克、刚果（金）、埃塞俄比亚、卢旺达、乌干达、安哥拉、刚果（布）、肯尼亚，以及中亚的乌兹别克斯坦等国家拥有生产基地和在建项目，中外方员工总计 6000 余人。公司水泥年产能超1200万吨，石膏板产能 3000 万平方米，国际物流运输能力 2000 万吨。
西部水泥方面此前表示，未来将紧紧抓住非洲大发展的历史机遇，加快推进国际化发展战略，逐步确立在非洲地区水泥建材行业的龙头地位；同时加大对中亚、东南亚等全球新兴国家市场的开拓力度，致力于形成集水泥、商混、新材料、物流、贸易、装配式建筑等产业于一体的国际化建材产业领军企业。
