Mount Gibson Says JV Partner Reports Increases at Northern Territory Project

Mount Gibson Iron (ASX:MGX) said Tanami Gold (ASX:TAM), its joint venture partner in the Central Tanami project, in which Mount Gibson acquired a 50% interest in July, reported an increase in the project's mineral resource estimate (MRE), according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The MRE increased to 31 million tonnes at a grade of 2.8 grams of gold for 2.8 million ounces of contained gold, compared with the previously reported MRE on June 30, per the filing.

The results show an 18% increase in tonnes, a 9% growth in contained ounces, and an 8% decline in grade, the filing added.
