本报讯 （记者 丁玉梅 通讯员 李启彬） 11月3日至7日，青海省大气探测技术保障中心联合中国气象局气象探测中心等单位，顺利完成西宁达坂山天气雷达业务准入测试。标志着青海首部CD型双偏振天气雷达正式建成，并已达到业务运行准入条件。
该雷达采用了C波段大天线、双线偏振等先进技术，代表了目前国内气象雷达建设的最高技术指标。
作为推动高原天气雷达探测网高质量发展的重要成果，首部CD型双偏振天气雷达的成功建成，填补青海东部地区双偏振雷达监测的空白。西宁达坂山雷达站地处海拔4070米的达坂山山顶，可覆盖全省超一半人口的生活区域，将显著提升河湟谷地及祁连山区灾害性天气的监测预警能力。
