JD.com (HKG:9618) said its sales during the 2025 Singles' Day shopping festival reached a record high, with order volumes rising nearly 60% and the number of users placing orders up 40% from a year earlier, according to a social media statement on Tuesday.
China's biggest e-commerce platform also highlighted strong results from newer businesses, including food delivery, household services, and travel bookings.
Hotel orders surged nearly eightfold, and flight bookings rose 6.3 times from last year's festival, the statement said.
JD Logistics (HKG:2618) fulfilled 95% of self-operated orders within 24 hours, supported by its AI-driven "Super Brain 2.0" system, which handled 1.9 billion calls during the event, it added.
