0841 GMT - Uni-President China's plans to expand retailer coverage could drive 2026 sales growth, while investments in revamping legacy products should support medium-term revenue growth and retain consumer mindshare, Morningstar analyst Jacky Tsang says in a note. He estimates 2H beverage sales to decline 1%, compared with the previous expectation of 5% growth, after the company reported a 3Q net profit fall due to beverage sales pressure. Tsang says he concurs with Uni-President's decision to maintain stable retail prices for key beverages despite intensifying competition, adding that is crucial in preserving strong distributor ties by ensuring pricing predictability. He trims his 2025 net profit forecast by 3% but keeps long-term estimates intact. Morningstar maintains its fair value estimate at HK$8.20. Shares closed at HK$8.66. (jason.chau@wsj.com)
