Celsys (TYO:3663) said annual recurring revenue (ARR) from subscriptions for its flagship illustration software Clip Studio Paint climbed to a record 5.2 billion yen in October, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The churn rate for paid subscriptions remained low at 4.6%, while total users on the company's creator platform rose to 11.2 million, with 163,000 new registrations during the month.

Subscription sales also reached a new peak, with holiday-season promotions planned through December to attract new users.
