Trinseo plc announced that its U.S. facilities in Midland, Michigan, and Louisville, Kentucky, have achieved Operation Clean Sweep® $(OCS)$ Blue Verification. This status indicates that the sites have implemented controls and best practices to prevent plastic pellet, flake, and powder loss into the environment. The verification process requires compliance with standards across five key areas: leadership commitment, facility risk assessment, internal procedures, employee training and engagement, and audits and partner engagement. The facilities underwent an independent third-party inspection as part of the verification process. Trinseo has also reported that all its European manufacturing sites have achieved external OCS Certification as of April 2025.
