据彭博新闻报道，知情人士说，瑞士大宗商品巨头嘉能可（Glencore Plc）和资产管理公司高瓴资本（Hillhouse Investment Management）计划投资创新实业（Chuangxin Industries Holdings Ltd.）即将在香港进行的首次公开发行（IPO）。这表明随着铝价飙升，投资者对这家中国铝冶炼企业的前景充满信心。
上述知情人士表示，嘉能可和高瓴资本准备作为基石投资者参与这次IPO。所谓基石投资者，是指在 IPO 中承诺持有股票一定期限、从而获得保底股份配售额度的认购方。因为讨论的是未公开事宜，这些知情人士要求匿名。
