穆迪已将星巴克的信用评级置于负面观察名单，此前展望为负面。此次穆迪启动评级下调评估，源于星巴克此前宣布已与博裕资本（Boyu Capital）达成协议，双方将成立合资企业运营星巴克在中国市场的零售业务。穆迪表示：“此次评级下调评估的核心考量在于，根据（合资相关）资金的具体用途，这一交易可能导致星巴克信用指标的改善进程出现延迟。”
