Air New Zealand Buys Back More Than 900,000 Ordinary Shares

Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR) bought back 914,008 ordinary shares, according to a Friday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
The company repurchased about 203,753 ordinary shares on the New Zealand Stock Exchange at an average of NZ$0.6212 each, 244,040 shares on the Australian Stock Exchange at an average of AU$0.5394 each, and about 466,215 shares from the Sovereign through the Minister of Finance at NZ$0.6218 each, the filing said.
The company now has 3.2 billion ordinary shares in issue and 93 shares held as treasury stock.
