DFS Furniture said it has made an encouraging start to its fiscal year as orders grow, but said it was mindful of the broader macroeconomic environment.
The retailer said Friday that orders in the 19 weeks ended Nov. 9 have grown compared with the same period a year prior and that it is comfortable with full-year profit expectations.
The market expects profit before tax and brand amortization between 37.6 million and 43 million pound ($49.6 million-$56.7 million), according to a company-compiled consensus.
However, the company said it mindful of the macroeconomic environment and uncertainty caused by the upcoming U.K.'s Autumn budget.
