彭博称，阿里巴巴已秘密启动“千问”项目，基于Qwen最强模型打造一款同名个人AI助手——千问APP，全面对标ChatGPT，加入全球AI应用的顶级竞赛。阿里核心管理层将其视为“AI时代的未来之战”，希望借助Qwen的开源技术优势赢得竞争。
Qwen大模型的研发始于三年前，目前已经成为全球排名第一的开源大模型。最新发布的Qwen3-Max性能超过GPT5、Claude Opus 4等国际竞争者，跻身全球前三。Qwen系列模型的全球下载量已突破6亿次，横扫硅谷。Airbnb CEO布莱恩·切斯基公开表示，公司正“大量依赖Qwen”，因其比openAI模型更快更好。英伟达CEO黄仁勋表示，Qwen已占据全球开源模型的大部分市场，并在持续扩大份额。阿里自研的模型Qwen正在成为硅谷的根基。这是年初公布3800亿投入AI基础设施之后，阿里AI战略的又一重要布局。此前，阿里重兵一直放在B端AI市场，通过阿里云向各行各业提供模型API服务。基于Qwen的优秀性能和国际影响力，阿里管理层认为启动千问C端之战的时机已经成熟。阿里巴巴已经抽调上百名工程师秘密办公。在阿里巴巴位于杭州的总部园区，已有两层办公楼被划为该项目的专属区域。面向全球市场的国际版千问APP也在同步研发，将借助Qwen模型的海外影响力与ChatGPT直接争夺海外用户。
