特朗普政府周四最终敲定，撤销拜登时代对阿拉斯加一片区域的石油和天然气钻探限制。该区域是美国最大的未开发公共土地。2024年的规定禁止在阿拉斯加国家石油储备区 1060 万英亩（430 万公顷）的土地上进行石油和天然气租赁，同时限制在另外 200 多万英亩（80.9 万公顷）的土地上进行开发。
