谷歌计划在德克萨斯州投资400亿美元新建三座数据中心，在OpenAI和 Anthropic等竞争对手在该州推进数十亿美元投资计划时扩大自身布局。

　　谷歌周五在声明中表示，这项投资将持续到2027年。其中一座数据中心将位于德州的Armstrong县，另外两座在Haskell县。其中一处在Haskell的设施将与新建的太阳能与电池储能设施共址，以减轻对电网的影响。

　　“这项投资将创造数千个就业岗位，为大学生和电工学徒提供技能培训，并加快德州各地能源可负担性计划的推进，”Alphabet首席执行官Sundar Pichai在达拉斯附近的活动上表示，该公司在当地已有两处数据中心。
