2025年11月9日至10日，国际清算银行（BIS）在瑞士巴塞尔举行行长例会，中国人民银行副行长宣昌能出席。与会央行行长就全球经济金融形势、改善全球跨境支付、非银行金融机构对货币政策的影响、人口老龄化对金融稳定的影响等议题进行了交流。

　　11月11日至12日，宣昌能访问英国财政部、英格兰银行、英国审慎监管局和英国金融行为监管局等英方金融管理部门。双方就中英货币与金融合作、金融稳定与监管等问题交换了意见，均表示愿进一步加强中英金融领域的交流与合作。
