Sealed Air (SEE) is engaging with Clayton Dubilier & Rice for a takeover by the buyout firm, The Wall Street Journal reported late Wednesday, citing sources.
A deal for the packaging provider could be finalized soon, but ongoing talks could fall through or another potential suitor could emerge, the people familiar with the matter told the media outlet.
Sealed Air did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
Shares of Sealed Air were up 22% during after hours trading.
