巴克莱银行表示，如果俄罗斯原油出口大幅下降，布伦特原油价格可能会上涨至每桶85美元以上，远高于该行此前给出的2026年每桶66美元的预测。
10月下旬，美国总统特朗普宣布对俄罗斯最大的石油公司卢克石油和俄油实施与乌克兰相关的制裁，这是华盛顿对俄企业采取的最严厉措施。
巴克莱周五在一份报告中表示，地缘政治局势依然高度紧张，但石油流动基本没有受影响，并重申这将给油价带来上行风险。
截至周五，布伦特原油期货报每桶约64.43美元，美国原油期货报每桶60.16美元。
巴克莱表示，尽管电动汽车兴起，但石油需求仍总体上继续按照新冠疫情前的长期趋势增长，该行认为短期内需求不会触顶。
该行表示，美国和委内瑞拉之间日益紧张的局势以及美国在加勒比地区的军事集结也对油价构成上行风险。
