1030 GMT - Amundi's investors should be reassured by the extension of the French asset manager's partnership with bank Societe Generale, Citi says in a research note. The longrunning relationship, which has been extended in principle by another five years, covers investment-solution distribution and securities-services activities. This is a positive development given that partnerships have been an area of concern for cautious investors, analyst Nicholas Herman says. This is in part due to uncertainty around the renewal of its partnership with Italy's UniCredit in 2027. "We...see this as helpful to improve the Amundi narrative," he says. Tuesday's investor day could be a further catalyst, he adds. Amundi shares are flat, while shares in SocGen, which separately announced a 1 billion-euro share buyback, rise 0.5%.
