Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) said Tuesday that it has promoted Phil Thomas to chief strategy and operating officer, effective Dec. 2.
Thomas previously was the company's chief risk officer, the company said.
He succeeds Anique Asher, who has been named executive vice president, real estate secured lending.
