Cyprium Metals (ASX:CYM) said the Western Australia Department of Energy and Economic Diversification approved its "Notice to Proceed" for the restart of cathode operations at the Nifty copper complex, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It expects to recover copper from existing above-ground leach pads.
Its shares rose 3% in recent trading on Monday.
