Hastings Technology Metals Says Drilling Confirms Near-Surface Gold Results at Western Australia Project; Shares Rise 13%

Hastings Technology Metals (ASX:HAS) said reverse circulation drilling confirmed high-grade, near-surface gold results at the Seven Leaders prospect within the Whiteheads gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

It encountered intercepts of 5 meters at 15.2 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 27 meters and 35 meters at 1.9 g/t grade of gold from the surface, the filing said. The 32-drill hole 1,222-meter program was completed in October.

The company expects to release a maiden mineral resource estimate in December.

Hastings Technology Metals' shares rose 13% in recent trading on Monday.
