BUZZ-Trip.com's Hong Kong shares climb most in 2 months on strong third quarter

** Hong Kong shares of Trip.com Group 9961.HK climb 3.9% to HK$577, on course for their biggest one-day pct gain since September 16

** Stock on track to snap two straight sessions of falls; top pct gainer on the benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI, which is down 1%

** Online travel service provider said its Q3 net revenue up 16% y/y, net income attributable to shareholders nearly triples and non-GAAP net income attributable to shareholders more than triples

** Jefferies, with "buy" rating, says Trip.com's 3Q total revenue, operating profit and non-GAAP earnings ahead of expectations

** YTD, Trip.com Group's Hong Kong stock up 5.6%, U.S.-listed shares up 3.3%
