0729 ET - Coffee company Luckin now has nearly 30,000 stores in China, but it's also adding locations outside of its home market. The chain says it had three U.S. locations, 5 stores in Singapore and 21 in Malaysia as of Sept. 30. Same-store sales for its self-operated stores grew 14.4% in 3Q. Sales and income beat analysts' expectations. Luckin is challenging Starbucks' dominance in China, and is starting to encroach in the U.S. (heather.haddon@wsj.com; @heatherhaddon)
