Metals X (ASX:MLX) said the total proved and probable reserve at the Renison Bell operations at Tasmania as of March 31 came in at 7.5 million tonnes at 1.4% grade of tin for 102,720 tonnes of contained tin, taking into account depletion for mining over the previous 12 months, updated tin price, and a revised cut-off grade, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
This represents an 8.6% decline in total reserve ore tonnes at Renison underground over the previous 12 months, as well as an 8.5% decrease in reserve contained tin, the filing said.
The reserve mine life is estimated at around nine years, per the filing.
Renison is 50%-owned by Metals X through the Bluestone Mines Tasmania joint venture.
The company's shares were up almost 1% in recent Monday trade.
