消息面上，11月14日，外交部和中国驻日本使领馆郑重提醒中国公民近期避免前往日本。11月16日，红星新闻致电携程，客服表示平台方也在密切关注。现在有很多日本的酒店订单取消，在帮顾客处理；有的客人还在观望。部分酒店好沟通，同意免费退改，携程可直接提交申请并自动退款；部分酒店则需进一步沟通，尚在协调中。
高盛此前发布研报称，携程集团出境游业务增长持续正常化，同比增长14-15%，略好于公司指引的10-20%区间低端。国泰海通证券则表示，受益于研发和管理费用率的规模经济，携程整体经调整利润率依然处于明确的向上通道。随着后续Trip.com的盈利改善，预计利润率会提升。
