Carlsberg Mulls Sale of Some Asia Ops, Bloomberg Says, Citing Sources

--Carlsberg is considering selling part of its Asian operations, with Sapporo Holdings emerging as a top potential suitor, Bloomberg says, citing unnamed sources.

--The Danish brewer is in talks with Sapporo Holdings and the Japanese company is leaning toward buying a minority stake in Carlsberg's Asian business, Bloomberg reports.

--However, if an agreement on the ownership ratio and other terms can't be reached, the sale may not proceed, Bloomberg says.

--A Sapporo Holdings spokesperson declined to comment and a representative for Carlsberg wasn't able to comment immediately, according to Bloomberg.
