HSBC Stays Bullish on Quality Chinese Landlords -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Nov 20

0448 GMT - HSBC Global Research stays bullish on the quality landlords in China's property market, they say in a note. The landlords' ability to quickly adjust to changing consumer tastes and unlock value by listing C-REITs have boosted analysts' faith in these companies. They think many investors have overlooked improved consumption in certain areas, which give landlords an opportunity to attract footfall and generate higher returns. Quality landlords' prospects will improve after their tenant mix changes normalize and major renovation upgrades are finished, they add. The brokerage continues to like China Resources Land in top-tier cities and Seazen in lower-tier cities. (jiahui.huang@wsj.com; @ivy_jiahuihuang)
