Emmerson Resources Raises Northern Territory Gold Deposit's Indicated Resource by 18,600 Ounces, Shares Climb 3%

Emmerson Resources (ASX:ERM) said the mineral resource estimate for the White Devil gold deposit in the Northern Territory was updated to 4.7 million tonnes at 4.1 grams per tonne grade of gold for 616,200 ounces of gold, with the indicated resource increasing by 18,600 ounces of gold, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

This included an indicated resource of 4 million tonnes at 4.3 g/t grade of gold for 549,100 ounces of gold, as well as an inferred resource of 700,000 tonnes at 3 g/t grade of gold for 67,100 ounces of gold.

The project is part of the firm's joint venture with Tennant Mining.

The firm's shares rose 3% in recent trading on Thursday.
