Singapore and Germany are looking to collaborate in a bid to tackle supply-chain challenges, Reuters reported Thursday, citing German Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil.

Klingbell met with several Singaporean leaders and discussed the prospects of diversifying their positioning and supply chains to reduce existing dependencies, the report said.

Germany has been caught in the middle of the U.S.-China trade conflict, while Singapore is facing sectoral tariffs from Washington, the report noted.
