VGI Partners Global Investments (ASX:VG1) said it changed its name to Regal Partners Global Investments, effective Nov. 24, and registered the new name with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The firm also changed its ASX ticker from "VG1" to "RG1".
The change in the name was approved by its shareholders at its Tuesday annual general meeting.
Its shares were up nearly 1% in recent trading on Wednesday.
