Health care stocks were rising pre-bell Friday, with the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) up 0.4% and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) 0.1% higher.
Azenta (AZTA) shares were up more than 23% after the company posted higher fiscal Q4 non-GAAP earnings and revenue.
AnaptysBio (ANAB) stock was down more than 13% after the company said it filed a complaint in Delaware Chancery Court seeking a declaration that GSK (GSK) unit Tesaro has "materially breached" the companies' collaboration deal covering cancer drug Jemperli. Tesaro also filed a lawsuit accusing AnaptysBio of breaching their license agreement.
Veeva Systems (VEEV) shares were down nearly 8% even after the company reported higher fiscal Q3 non-GAAP earnings and revenue, and raised its fiscal 2026 guidance.
