BUZZ-Energy sector gains as oil rises, Wall Street advances

** S&P 500 energy index .SPNY rises 1.4% as oil prices edged higher, while Wall Street advanced after upbeat jobs data and strong Nvidia earnings

** Brent crude futures <LCOc1> up 1.35% at $64.38/barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude CLc1 rise 1.5% to $60.31/barrel

** Oil prices edge higher boosted by a bigger than expected draw in U.S. crude stockpiles and a broader equities rally O/R .N

** Oil majors Exxon XOM.N rise ~1%

** Devon Energy DVN.N, Diamondback Energy FANG.O and Baker Hughes BKR.O rise between 3.7% and 2.7%, among the biggest pct gainers on the energy index

** Refiner Phillips 66 PSX.N up 1.5%

** Oilfield services firm SLB.N rise ~1%
