智通财经APP获悉，周四，IBM(IBM.US)、思科(CSCO.US)股价走高，截至发稿分别涨超3.5%及1.75%。消息面上，两家公司此前宣布，将合作设计一套由大规模、具备容错能力的量子计算机组成的互联网络，目标于2030年前后实现首个概念验证，并在2030年代后期为构建“量子计算互联网”奠定基础。此次合作被视为推动量子计算从单机突破到“多机协同时代”的关键一步。
双方表示，未来五年将共同展示一个将多个独立的大规模容错量子计算机连接起来、协同执行计算的网络原型。该网络将使量子计算任务可扩展至数万甚至数十万量子比特层级，实现传统单机难以承载的超大规模运算。
根据双方介绍，通过这种分布式网络架构，量子计算将可运行规模达数万亿量子门的复杂程序。这对解决大型优化问题、先进材料设计、药物研发等前沿应用至关重要。
IBM研究院院长Jay Gambetta表示：“与思科合作探索如何连接多台量子计算机进入分布式网络，将进一步扩大量子计算的能力边界。”
